Well, It IS HERE!!!!!!! It has been a long and exciting journey since being crowned Miss Kansas in June. All of my life I have dreamed about becoming Miss America. My dream isn't true JUST yet, but I am going to be on that stage very soon. About a year ago I asked God to use me and my life for Him. I feel as though I am on that journey and am very excited to see if He would like for me to continue my work here in Kansas or all over America. I have put in a lot of hard work to get this far (as I am sure that all of the other girls have as well) and am confident about myself and where I am going.
2012 Miss Kansas Sweeps Pageant
The 2012 Miss Kansas Sweeps Pageant will be on March 17, 2012 in Pratt, KS.
Any contestant who has competed in a pageant for the 2012 Miss Kansas Season is eligible to enter and as many as nine titles will be awarded!
The absolute deadline to enter is March 14, 2012.

Caitlyn's December Blog
As a little girl my absolute favorite Christmas song was “Away in a Manger.” I always loved picturing the stars twinkling in the skies and hearing the cattle lowing. I would whisk myself away to that small barn. I pictured seeing the Little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay, and wondering just what it would feel like to be there.
Giving Back to Others
The local Miss Augusta/Miss Butler County Organization has launched the Miss Augusta/Miss Butler County Gives Back Program. The 2012 titleholders and directors are shown above making a generous donation to the Augusta Community Caring Center early this week. They also donated canned good and other food items to the Center.
Miss America Class of 2012
The 2012 Miss America Pageant is Saturday, January 14, 2012 on ABC at 9pm EST. Go Carissa Kelley, Miss Kansas 2011!!!
Haiti Trip with Numana
Carissa Kelley, Miss Kansas 2011, traveled to Haiti as a result of the newly formed partnership with Numana. She helped repair school books, fed children and met inspirational people throughout her visit.

Miss Kansas Cookbook
The Miss Kansas Cookbook was sold during pageant week and was a big success! We have a VERY LIMITED number of books still available!
This cookbook is a fundraiser and key promotional tool for the Miss Kansas Organization.
